LingHacks Workshops

We present computational linguistics workshops at various venues across the country during the school year. We do this in two formats: through workshops that we coordinate ourselves and through workshops that we present at partner events. Workshops cover topics in both the theory and application of computational linguistics. Example workshop topics include:
  • Building a spam filter using the Naive Bayes algorithm
  • Building a text classifier using support vector machines
  • Analyzing sentiment in text using recurrent neural networks
  • And more!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are no longer able to host in-person workshops for the time being, but we are planning some digital workshops in an effort to continue providing educational content. Check back in the coming weeks for updates, and in the meantime, fill out this form to be notified when we publish new content and open registration for a workshop!
